Rione Centro Due
"The Rondolina"
Rione Centro Due is characterized by the colors white and blue and its symbol is the pike, a predatory fish native to Lake Trasimeno that represents strength, determination, and fighting spirit.
The Rione was founded in 1984, on the occasion of the revival of the historical Palio delle Barche, and developed in the newest part of town, which arose with the post-war urban settlements. This youthful and dynamic identity has contributed from the beginning to bringing enthusiasm and new energy to the event.
Alongside the pike symbol, the district is also recognized by the Rondolina, an ancient watchtower that over time served as a granary and a community gathering place. A symbol that recalls the history of the area and the value of togetherness.
Every year, the Centro Due district enlivens the streets of Passignano with its white and blue colors, supported by the dedication of its contrada members of all ages who passionately work to prepare for the Palio and its events.
For the district, the Palio delle Barche represents a moment of strong collective identity: a popular celebration celebrated with enthusiasm, pride, and the desire to carry the colors of the Luccio ever higher.
